Gail Medina has been an artist, designer, and teacher for over 20 years. Her love for art began early and continued to grow as she studied art history, color, and theory. She spent many hours studying with national and international teachers.

Gail teaches classes for both adults and children with emphasis on painting, drawing, and color theory. All of her classes have focus in theory, dissecting the why and how of color, values, light and form. She feels that understanding the “why and how” is more rewarding than just doing what you are told. Her aim is not to teach her students how to mimic another artist’s style, but rather how to achieve their own style.

In addition to teaching, Gail does custom artwork, decorative art pieces, and murals for both private and corporate clients.

Gail lives in north Georgia with her husband of 35 years, Randy. They have 5 children, 3 grandchildren, and numerous four-legged family members.

Having a career that is also a passion and being able to share that passion with others is truly a blessing.
