Cathleen "Cat" Coley

dscn0305.jpg                                                                                                                                                Cathleen "Cat" Coley began to study Reiki in the year 2000, and became a Reiki Master in 2002. She also began taking drum lessons, although she had used a frame drum for years. During a vivid spiritual experience, she was introduced to a healing modality by her spirit guides, which she calls "Reiki drumbeat". She took this healing practice to shows and expos where people would often express a desire to buy the drums she was using. Chet, her life partner, had the idea to make their own drums.

Cat was not an experienced woodworker, so she set out to learn all she could about making drums, especially healing drums.

Cat started out with two drum kits she purchased online. As she continued learning, she was able to make a better frame than the ones she could buy.

They now go to shows and expos to sell healing Reiki drumbeat drums. These drums can be used for healing or just for the joy of drumming. They are some of the finest made drums on the East Coast.

Cat believes that if enough people use these drums, it will help to heal our planet.

Cat teaches Reiki 1, Reiki 2, and Reiki Master classes. She does a class/workshop on Reiki drumbeat with information provided by her spirit guides. She does presentations on Reiki and Reiki drumbeat, facilitates drum circles and teaches frame drumming.
